VibeCommand / Mac Assistant

Mac Assistant

Away for the weekend. Your Mac needs a hand.

A service on your Mac stops responding. Open Mac Assistant on your phone, describe what you see and ask your installed agent to investigate. Review what it finds and decide what happens next.

REMOTE HELP FOR THIS MAC

Start outside a project.

Mac Assistant sits at the top of the project list. It has its own conversation and starts from your Mac home folder, so you can ask about the machine before choosing a project.

The agent uses the tools, account and permissions already available on your Mac. VibeCommand carries the conversation and permission requests to your iPhone or iPad.

EXAMPLE REQUEST · NOT A SESSION TRANSCRIPT

My Mac says the disk is almost full. Check what is using the space, explain what is safe to remove and show me the paths before changing anything.

The response depends on your Mac and chosen agent. No files are removed by this example.

A few useful starting points.

Find the cause.

Ask the agent to inspect disk usage, read accessible logs or identify a process that stopped responding.

Carry out a fix.

Review the diagnosis and authorize the next action. The agent can run commands allowed by its configuration and macOS permissions. At launch, actions in Mac Assistant are planned for Pro.

Prepare the next project.

Ask the agent to clone a repository or prepare a workspace using the tools and credentials available on the Mac. Open the resulting project for its own Chat and LIVE.

Understand its reach.

Mac Assistant is not limited to one project directory. It can work with other folders and Mac resources that the installed agent is allowed to access. It does not bypass macOS permissions or create a separate administrator account.

Give it a clear scope and review changes that matter. Some system prompts and sign-ins must be handled on the Mac itself.

Stay in control.

Use Stop in the active conversation to interrupt a run. Stopping does not undo commands or edits already completed. Keep your usual backups and Git workflow.

The Mac must stay awake and reachable. Mac Assistant has no project LIVE server; web and Simulator previews belong to individual projects.

Mac Assistant support

Planned for launch: Free includes diagnosis and an explanation of the problem. Applying a fix or creating a project through Mac Assistant requires Pro. These plan limits are being prepared for release and may differ in beta builds. Compare the launch plans.
